mCconnect tool by Wipro McGraw-Hill

The industry giants Wipro and McGraw-Hill are developing a mobile learning platform to tap potential market in mobile learning. The educational tool shall be accessible to both urban and rural users.

To start with mConnect will offer preparation material for University Entrance Examinations. The program will be available via mobile devices, including laptop and cell phone. India has 700 million cell phone users of which 100 million are rural students, according to McGraw-Hill. The two companies are keen on extending mConnect to other countries in Asia and Africa, later.
